Cape Town travellers meet the Go Trip guide at Cape Town International Airport before travelling by luxury vehicle to Franschhoek.

Travellers fly from their selected airport to Cape Town, where the Go Trip guide will meet the group before travelling to Franschhoek.
Departing from GP
Guests fly from their selected airport to Cape Town and meet the Go Trip guide at the airport before continuing into the Winelands.
Departing from KZN
Travellers fly from their selected airport to Cape Town, where the Go Trip guide will meet them before departure to Franschhoek.

The group will stop at suitable places where guests may purchase lunch or something light to eat.
Flight Information
Domestic flights are not included for travellers flying to Cape Town.
Go Trip can assist with arranging flights for an administration fee of R50. Airline prices remain subject to availability and may change at any time.
Accommodation and Room Sharing
The tour price is based on two guests sharing a room.
A single supplement of R5,750 applies when one guest occupies a room alone. It is payable with the deposit and may be refunded if the traveller later finds a suitable sharing partner.
Travelling alone but willing to share? Indicate this on your booking form. Go Trip may be able to introduce you to another solo traveller who is also looking for a sharing partner.
Weather in Franschhoek
Franschhoek generally enjoys pleasant autumn weather during April.
Average temperatures during the tour are expected to reach approximately 25°C during the day, with minimum temperatures of around 15°C.
We recommend packing comfortable daytime clothing, a light jacket for the evenings and suitable shoes for walking through gardens, estates and historic towns.

Arrive in the Franschhoek Valley and begin your journey with visits to the Huguenot Monument and Perfume Museum.
Known for its strong wine culture, remarkable scenery and elegant architecture, Franschhoek is often described as South Africa’s food and wine capital.
Babylonstoren
Explore Babylonstoren’s extensive garden, home to hundreds of edible and medicinal plant varieties.
The experience also includes a collection tour, a bee-focused experience, wine tasting and a cellar tour.
Franschhoek Wine Tram
Board the famous Franschhoek Wine Tram for a leisurely journey through rolling vineyards and some of the valley’s oldest wine estates.
The day includes a visit to Rickety Bridge for a wine and cheese tasting, with time to enjoy the surrounding estate and scenery.
Huguenot Fine Chocolates
Visit Huguenot Fine Chocolates and discover handcrafted chocolates made using Belgian chocolate.
This artisan experience offers a delicious introduction to one of Franschhoek’s best-known local producers.
