Departing from CPT
Travellers fly from their selected airport to King Shaka International Airport, where the Go Trip guide will meet the group before travelling through Richards Bay, Mtubatuba, Hluhluwe and uMkhuze to Jozini.
Departing from the EC or GRD
Guests fly from their selected airport to King Shaka International Airport and join the Go Trip guide for the journey to Jozini.
Departing from GP
Travellers fly to King Shaka International Airport, where the group meets the Go Trip guide before travelling north to Jozini.
Departing from KZN
KwaZulu-Natal travellers depart from designated central collection points and travel by road to Jozini.

The tour stops at suitable places where guests may purchase lunch or something light to eat.
Flight Information
Flights are not included for travellers flying to King Shaka International Airport.
Go Trip can assist with arranging flights for an administration fee of R50. Airline fares remain subject to availability and may change at any time.
Accommodation and Room Sharing
The tour price is based on two guests sharing a room.
A single supplement of R3,600 applies when one guest occupies a room alone. The supplement is payable with the deposit and may be refunded if the traveller later finds a suitable sharing partner.
Travelling alone but willing to share? Indicate this on the booking form. Go Trip may be able to introduce you to another solo traveller looking for a suitable sharing partner.
Weather during the Safari
Northern KwaZulu-Natal generally experiences warm spring conditions during September.
The supplied itineraries indicate average daytime temperatures of approximately 29°C, with minimum temperatures of around 15°C.
Guests should pack:
- Lightweight clothing for warm days
- A warm layer for early-morning game drives
- Comfortable closed shoes
- Sun protection
- A hat and sunglasses
- Insect repellent
- Binoculars and a camera, where possible

- Open safari vehicles may feel cold in the early morning or evening.
- Boat access may involve steps and uneven boarding areas.
- Some activities involve extended periods of sitting.
- Guests with mobility concerns should provide full details on the booking form.
- Optional lodge activities and spa treatments are not included unless specifically stated.

Jozini Dam Sunset Cruise
Relax on the water as the sun begins to set over Jozini Dam and the Lebombo Mountains.
The cruise offers a peaceful change of pace after the day’s game viewing, with beautiful scenery and opportunities to observe wildlife and birdlife around the dam.
Jozini Tiger Lodge
Enjoy three nights at the four-star Jozini Tiger Lodge.
The itinerary allows time to relax at the lodge, take in the views and enjoy the peaceful surroundings between safari activities.
Tembe Elephant Park
Travel to Tembe Elephant Park, which was established to protect elephants that historically moved between Maputaland and southern Mozambique.
The itinerary includes an afternoon game drive on arrival, followed by both an early-morning and afternoon game drive the following day.
St Lucia Estuary Cruise
Travel to St Lucia, the gateway to the iSimangaliso Wetland Park region.
The itinerary includes a two-hour boat cruise to observe hippos, Nile crocodiles and the rich birdlife of the estuary.
