Travellers fly from their selected airport to King Shaka International Airport, where the Go Trip guide will meet the group before travelling through Richards Bay to Hluhluwe.
Departing from the EC or GRD
Guests fly from their selected airport to King Shaka International Airport and meet the Go Trip guide before continuing to Hluhluwe.
Departing from GP
Travellers fly to King Shaka International Airport, where the Go Trip guide will meet the group before the road journey to Hluhluwe.
Departing from KZN
KwaZulu-Natal travellers depart from designated central collection points and travel by road through Richards Bay to Hluhluwe.

The group will stop at suitable places where guests may purchase lunch or something light to eat.
Flight Information
Flights are not included for travellers flying to King Shaka International Airport.
Go Trip can assist with arranging flights for an administration fee of R50. Airline fares remain subject to availability and may change at any time.
Accommodation and Room Sharing
The tour price is based on two guests sharing a room.
A single supplement of R2,700 applies when one guest occupies a room alone. The supplement is payable with the deposit and may be refunded if the traveller later finds a suitable sharing partner.
Travelling alone but willing to share? Indicate this on your booking form. Go Trip may be able to introduce you to another solo traveller who is also looking for a sharing partner.
Weather in Hluhluwe
The Hluhluwe region generally experiences warm weather during late April and early May.
Average daytime temperatures during the tour are expected to reach approximately 28°C, with minimum temperatures of around 17°C.
Pack light clothing for warm daytime conditions, a warm layer for early-morning game drives, sun protection and comfortable closed shoes.

- Wildlife sightings cannot be guaranteed.
- Game drives may begin early in the morning.
- Some excursions take place in open vehicles and may be affected by weather conditions.
- Guests should bring a warm layer, hat, sunscreen and binoculars where possible.
- Certain activities may require guests to climb into safari vehicles or boats.
- Guests with mobility concerns should provide details on the booking form so that Go Trip can assess the suitability of the itinerary and available assistance.

Ghost Mountain Experience
Travel to Ghost Mountain Inn near Mkuze for a scenic boat cruise and lunch.
Set at the foot of the legendary Ghost Mountain, the area is associated with local history, traditional stories and the heritage of the Ndwandwe people.
St Lucia Estuary Cruise H3
Travel through Mtubatuba to St Lucia, part of the greater iSimangaliso Wetland Park region.
After checking into your hotel, enjoy a boat cruise on the St Lucia Estuary and look out for hippos, crocodiles, birdlife and other wildlife along the water’s edge.
