Cape Town travellers meet the Go Trip team at Cape Town International Airport before travelling along the scenic coastal route to Hermanus.

Travellers fly from their selected airport to Cape Town, where the Go Trip guide will meet the group before travelling to Hermanus.
Departing from GP
Guests fly to Cape Town and meet the Go Trip guide at the airport before continuing along the coastal route to Hermanus.
Departing from KZN
Travellers fly from their selected airport to Cape Town and join the Go Trip guide for the journey to Hermanus.

The group will stop at suitable places where guests may purchase lunch or something light to eat.
Flight Information
Flights are not included for travellers flying to Cape Town.
Go Trip can assist with arranging flights for an administration fee of R50. Airline fares remain subject to availability and may change at any time.
Accommodation and Room Sharing
The tour price is based on two guests sharing a room.
A single supplement of R5,000 applies when one guest occupies a room alone. The supplement is payable with the deposit and may be refunded if the traveller later finds a suitable sharing partner.
Travelling alone but willing to share? Indicate this on your booking form. Go Trip may be able to introduce you to another solo traveller who is also looking for a sharing partner.
Weather in Hermanus
Hermanus generally experiences pleasant spring weather during September.
Average daytime temperatures during the tour are expected to reach approximately 26°C, with minimum temperatures of around 11°C.
We recommend packing comfortable layers, a warm jacket for early mornings and evenings, sun protection and suitable walking shoes.

Scenic Coastal Journey
Travel from Cape Town to Hermanus along the scenic coastal route through Gordon’s Bay, Hangklip, Betty’s Bay and Kleinmond.
The changing mountain and ocean views provide a memorable introduction to the Overberg before arriving at your accommodation overlooking Walker Bay.
Montagu Tractor Trip
Travel through the Overberg and Robertson Wine Valley to Protea Farm in the Langeberg Mountains.
The famous tractor trip climbs to approximately 1,500 metres above sea level, offering panoramic views across the Koo and Robertson valleys. A traditional South African potjiekos lunch follows the experience.
Leisure Time in Hermanus
Enjoy time to explore the shops, restaurants and historic attractions of Hermanus.
Suggested attractions include the Old Harbour Museum, Whale House and De Wet’s House. The day ends with sundowners from Rotary Way overlooking Walker Bay.
Whale and Dolphin Watching
Depart from Hermanus New Harbour for a boat-based whale and dolphin watching experience in Walker Bay.
The operator follows an environmentally sensitive approach centred on observing marine life without disturbing it. Whale sightings remain dependent on nature, weather and sea conditions.
