The group will stop at suitable places where guests may purchase lunch or something light to eat.

Flights are not included for travellers flying to King Shaka International Airport.

Go Trip can assist with arranging flights for an administration fee of R50. Airline fares remain subject to availability and may change at any time.

A valid passport is compulsory because the Sani Pass excursion crosses the border into Lesotho.

The supplied itineraries state that the passport must:

• Remain valid for at least six months after the tour’s return date
• Have at least three blank pages

Travellers are responsible for ensuring that their passport details are correct and that the name entered on the booking form matches the passport exactly.

The tour price is based on two guests sharing a room.

A single supplement of R2,700 applies when one guest occupies a room alone. The supplement is payable with the deposit and may be refunded if the traveller later finds a suitable sharing partner.

Travelling alone but willing to share? Indicate this on the booking form. Go Trip may be able to introduce you to another solo traveller looking for a suitable sharing partner.

• The Sani Pass excursion involves steep gravel roads and sharp hairpin bends.
• The route is travelled in suitable 4×4 vehicles.
• The journey may not be suitable for travellers who are uncomfortable with heights, steep mountain roads or rough surfaces.
• Weather and road conditions may affect access to the pass.
• Border-crossing times may vary.
• The Sani Pass day may involve extended periods inside the 4×4 vehicle.
• Guests with mobility, breathing, motion-sickness or other health concerns should provide details on the booking form.
• The exact Basotho cultural stop may depend on the arrangements and conditions on the day.
